The Marathon Search & Rescue Diver's watch has been meticulously crafted to meet exact government specifications — and has a NATO stock number engraved on its back to prove it. The Swiss timepiece is powered by a high-quality ETA movement — an industry benchmark for accuracy and reliability. As expected from a proper tool watch, it has hands and indexes with self-illuminating tritium gas tubes for perfect nighttime legibility.

The 41-millimeter case and comfy rubber strap of the watch make it a great option for daily wear. The overall craftsmanship of the Marathon GSAR is exceptional and worthy of a higher price point. This particular variant of the timepiece has a case with a stealthy anthracite finish.

The Swiss-made watch is powered by a high-quality quartz movement with a date complication. It's water-resistant to 200 meters, and it comes on a comfortable rubber strap with a sturdy stainless steel buckle. 

The affordable Citizen Chandler BU2055-16E has a high-quality solar movement with handy complications, including dedicated 24-hour and weekday sub-dials, as well as one for keeping track on seconds. 

The timepiece has a black stainless steel case, coupled with a matching dial. We like the latter's contrasting markings. A military-inspired green strap and a fantastic 5-year warranty round up the product's noteworthy highlights. A Chandler variant with a sand-colored dial is also available. 

The solar-powered Casio Pro Trek PRW-3510Y-8CR is our favorite pick with a digital movement. The latter is packed with handy features, including a built-in triple sensor that can measure direction, atmospheric pressure, and altitude. The watch is incredibly accurate, too — it can sync with atomic clocks worldwide for precise timekeeping. 

We like the timepiece's negative display. It has exceptional readability and superb backlighting. The massive case of the timepiece is coupled with a comfy silicone strap with a military green finish. 

The Bell & Ross BR 03-92 Black Camo watch is badass and luxe in equal measure. The Swiss-made timepiece has a matte-black ceramic case and a dial with an awesome-looking camouflage pattern, as well as hands and indexes with black coating, which includes Super-LumiNova material for exceptional nighttime visibility. 

The automatic movement of the watch has a date complication. The splurgeworthy timepiece comes bundled with a silicone band, as well as a canvas strap. 

The Timex DGTL A-Game is our favorite digital pick for budget-conscious buyers. Priced well below $50, the timepiece has an oversized-yet-lightweight resin case, and an easy-to-read negative display with exceptional Indiglo backlighting. 

The watch comes on a comfortable and durable resin strap. It's water-resistant to 50 meters. An even stealthier, all-black version of the DGTL A-Game version is also available.
