Mars Wrigley’s Skittles must have a mission to insert itself into all holidays — with zero complaints from us. Last year, we received Skittles Candy Canes for Christmas, and now the candy is ready to take on Easter. Behold: Skittles Jelly Beans are here for all your April 17 needs.

The 10-ounce bags are filled with the fruity goodness that you know from Skittles, but they’ve been transformed into an Easter Bunny-approved bite. Although details are a bit limited, we can only assume that the red-, orange-, yellow-, green-, and purple-colored pieces are Strawberry-, Orange-, Lemon-, Green Apple-, and Grape-flavored, just like Skittles Original packs.

Skittles has yet to announce the new treat, but luckily, various Instagram accounts, including @junkfoodinthetrunk3, have already spotted it in stores, and stores have listed the bag on its websites. Yes, we know that it’s not even Valentine’s Day yet, but you can’t stop these brands from unleashing Easter goodies. Since this is most likely a seasonal offering, the more in advanced we know about it, the better, right?

Now you might be wondering what’s the point of Skittles Jelly Beans. After all, the original candy already consists of bite-size, fruity pieces that could satisfy any sweet tooth. Jelly beans, as you’re probably familiar with, are softer and have a different texture than the original Skittles. Plus, who are we to complain about a new candy offering, especially when it’s affiliated with a holiday?
